The importance of strategic planning for sports clubs in the development of sports investment in Iraq

Abstract

Sport has recently witnessed transformations in the economic aspects such as the concepts of investment, professionalism, marketing and financing, and digital technology in the arts of sports, media and communication in sports. Laws, regulations and systems have also developed in the world of sports in a way that protects its huge investments and ensures the fair and just practice of sports activities. Sports management sciences have evolved to keep pace with development in the concepts and sports systems on the one hand and the development of administrative sciences on the other hand. The research sample included (31) people, and they represent the heads and members of the administrative bodies of some clubs in Iraq, where the response rate was (86%) from the research community of (36) people. The survey method was applied because it is suitable for the objectives of the study, and the data was collected using the special questionnaire administration in strategic planning and sports investment that requires relying on scientific methods that are an effective tool to assist the administrator in carrying out successful and correct sports marketing. The researcher concluded in this study that strategic planning requires relying on scientific methods that are an effective tool to assist administrators in carrying out successful and correct sports marketing. The study concluded that it is necessary to pay attention to the study of strategic planning for the purpose of shortening time and funding in finding the appropriate tool and making these changes.
