The research sample consisted of (40) students selected randomly from the original research population. The researcher used the Emotional Stability Scale and the Psychological Security Scale, in addition to the 100m sprint test, as the main tools for data collection. After statistically processing the data, the results showed a statistically significant correlation between the psychological variables (emotional stability and psychological security) and the 100m sprint achievement. The results also indicated that these variables have a significant contribution percentage to improving the level of achievement. Considering the results, the researcher recommended the necessity of paying attention to the psychological preparation of students in conjunction with physical and skill preparation and including relaxation and emotional control exercises within the educational curricula.
